The Wild Place (2.7 miles)
Wild Place is a conservation park run near Almondsbury. It is run by the Bristol Zoo after the grounds were gifted by the White family (philanthropists involved in the financing of the first flight of the Wright Brothers). The park opened in July 2013 and continues to grow and expand. The most spectacular attraction is Bear Wood, which reproduces forest life in England in 8,000 BC, featuring wolves, bears and lynxes.
